Made in China

Just shoving the last few granola bars into the suitcase and we are almost ready to head to China. Of course Marc packed enough medications for us to open a small hospital over there -- and maybe we will.

It was an interesting weekend as we walked the streets of Manhattan trying to buy some small gifts for some folks we will be visiting in Shanghai. Just TRY to find something that does not have a big fat "Made in China" label. It took all weekend, but we did find a few items that actually did not have a "Made in China" label, although they probably were.

I'll be back to you from Beijing. BTW - it's pronounced bay-ging (like in jingle) - not bay-shing (like I had been pronouncing it). I expect to be learning tons of important facts like this and will share them with you along the way.

And to my kids/niece/nephew: be sure to call Grammy and Grandpa Brad frequently. They get lonely when I'm not around. And vice versa -- Mom and Dad -- be sure to check on the kids.
